IDOM is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Infrastructure Area in Spain (Madrid or Bilbao). The role offers participation in national and international projects within a multidisciplinary team and a flexible, collaborative work environment.

You will design and review geotechnical solutions, lead foundational works, and contribute to projects with a strong English-language component in an international company that values development and ownership opportunities.

Qualificações

• Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• 8-12 years of experience in geotechnical and foundation projects.
• Proficient with Plaxis, RS2, Rido, Slide, Swedge and RocPlane.
• Good command of English and ability to work in international teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead geotechnical and foundation engineering projects.
• Contribute to design of shallow and deep foundations and retaining structures (diaphragm walls, anchors).
• Perform stability analyses for embankments and slopes in soil and rock.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary, international project environment.

ABOUT YOU

Do not hesitate to apply if...

• You hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• You have 8-12 years of experience in geotechnical and foundation engineering projects. Experience in foundation geotechnics, the design of shallow and deep foundations, the design of retaining solutions (diaphragm walls, anchors), and road geotechnics (stability analysis and support design for embankments and slopes in both soil and rock) will be highly valued.
• You are proficient in software such as Plaxis, RS2, Rido, Slide, Swedge and RocPlane.
• You have strong teamwork skills and technical rigour.
• You are autonomous and have an innovative mindset.
• You have a good command of English.
