AgileEngine is seeking a Solution Architect to lead the technical design of a large-scale GCP data platform for an enterprise telecommunications client. The role starts part-time and scales to full-time, with a focus on defining lakehouse and medallion architectures using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.

You will work closely with senior client architects, shaping ingestion, transformation, governance, and analytics-serving layers while advising on migration from legacy ETL.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in data/enterprise architecture.
• Strong Google Cloud Platform data platform experience at enterprise scale.
• Designing lakehouse or medallion architectures (bronze/silver/gold).
• Experience migrating legacy ETL/data platforms to modern cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of data ingestion and transformation tooling like Fivetran, dbt, Airflow/Composer.
• Experience advising clients and presenting to executives.

Responsabilidades

• Design target-state lakehouse/medallion architecture on a multi-petabyte GCP data platform.
• Translate goals into scalable architecture decisions and delivery roadmaps.
• Define ingestion, transformation, curation, cataloging, governance, and analytics layers.
• Advise on migration strategies for legacy ETL pipelines into cloud-native patterns.
• Evaluate and select ingestion/transformation tooling for proofs of concept.
• Define data governance and cataloging aligned with GCP capabilities.
• Act as senior technical reviewer for engineers and security stakeholders.
• Present architecture decisions to executives and enterprise teams.
