Datahouse in Lisbon invites a skilled software engineer to join a 50-person team delivering web frontends, backends, and integrations. You will own features across their lifecycle, using Java/Spring Boot, Angular/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL in a collaborative, growth‑minded environment.

The role offers a hybrid work model with a Lisbon office and remote flexibility, competitive compensation, and opportunities to contribute to AI-assisted development and design systems.

Qualificações

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong full stack focus, including at least 3 years on a complex, long-term project.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience building maintainable frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing/developing REST APIs, integrations, and distributed or service-oriented applications.
• A strong understanding of development lifecycle management (Git, Bitbucket) and hands-on experience with Pull Requests.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and an adaptable mindset.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools and design systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Requirement Analysis & Software Development: Understand business needs and translate into robust software solutions.
• Backend Development: Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and Spring Boot.
• Data & Architecture: Develop maintainable data solutions with PostgreSQL and contribute to scalable architecture.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own features from refinement to delivery and production support.
• Collaboration: Work with business partners to clarify requirements and promote knowledge sharing.
• Technical Expertise: Guide peers with full stack expertise and grow with the team.
• Use Angular 21 and TypeScript; Java 25 and Spring Boot 4; Git and Bitbucket; Agile with Scrum.
