Jobgether is seeking a Senior Product Engineer in Portugal to design and ship reliable full-stack web software. You’ll own features end-to-end across frontend (React) and backend (Node.js) with PostgreSQL, AWS, and AI-assisted tooling, delivering production-grade solutions.

You’ll work in a small pod, collaborate with product and domain experts, and drive quality through testing (Playwright) and robust documentation while maintaining ownership and delivery velocity in a remote, autonomous setup.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping production web software across frontend and backend.
• Demonstrated experience delivering production features and owning releases.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js, React, or comparable technologies.
• Relational databases experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora; data modeling and development practices.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms; event-driven architectures.
• Strong testing discipline; unit and end-to-end tests with Playwright.
• Practical experience with AI coding tools in daily engineering work.
• Ability to work in regulated domains; tax, accounting, fintech, or similar a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation habits.
• Autonomous environment with ability to improve requirements and deliver end-to-end.

Responsabilidades

• Own product features end to end from clarified requirements to production support.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate needs into buildable solutions.
• Develop across the full stack using React/TypeScript and Node.js with PostgreSQL.
• Build reliable software with clean engineering practices and shared decisions.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit and Playwright end-to-end).
• Leverage AI coding agents and AI-assisted QA tools to boost velocity.
• Operate and support deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Document technical decisions, estimates, and changes for teammates.
