Datahouse AG in Lisbon invites senior software engineers to join a cross-functional team of 50 specialists. You will work on web frontends and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript, delivering scalable data solutions for clients in banking, real estate and public sector.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with business partners, and contribute to maintainable architectures.

Qualificações

• University degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development with a strong full stack focus.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Relational databases experience, especially PostgreSQL.
• REST APIs, integrations and distributed architectures.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket and PRs; SCRUM familiar.

Our team of 50 specialists supports the entire software lifecycle, from conception to operations. We offer flexible solutions through lean project teams, ensuring quick decisions and adaptability. Our clients span industries like banking, insurance, real estate and the public sector. We handle small to mid-sized projects involving web frontends, complex backends and third-party integrations. Our team is located in Lisbon, with 35 employees based at Avenida 5 de Outubro, working in close collaboration with our headquarters in Zurich.

Your responsibility

As part of our team, you will contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented environment while taking ownership of the following:

• Requirement Analysis & Software Development:Understand and analyze business needs then translate them into robust, scalable software solutions
• Backend Development:Design and implement reliable backend services, APIs, and integrations using Java and Spring Boot
• Data & Architecture: Develop maintainable data solutions with PostgreSQL and contribute to scalable technical architecture
• End-to-End Ownership: Take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle, from technical refinement and implementation to code review, delivery, and production support
• Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to clarify and refine requirements while fostering an open culture of knowledge sharing within and across teams
• Technical Expertise:Guide your peers with your full stack expertise and grow alongside a diverse group of professionals
• Angular 21 and TypeScript

Your Profile

• University degree inSoftware Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent;Relevant technical certifications are a plus
• 5+ yearsof professional software development experience with a strong full stack focus (including atleast 3 years on a complex, long-term project
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience building maintainable frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience designing/developing REST APIs, integrations, and distributed or service-oriented applications
• A strong understanding of development lifecycle management (Git, BitBucket) and hands-on experience with Pull Requests
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly SCRUM, and an adaptable mindset
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal
• Additional experience:
  • Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools, generative AI, or integrating AI capabilities into software products
  • Experience working with or contributing to a design system or component library and working closely with UX/UI designers
