Job summary
DACHSER Corporate IT Hub in Porto invites an experienced Software Engineer to lead frontend projects and shape the next generation of our Charter and Transport Planning Tool. You will drive Angular frontend architectures in a collaborative, international team and ensure robust delivery with modern testing and CI/CD practices.
We expect a degree in IT or related field with 7+ years of development, strong English, and a track record of enterprise frontend design.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, computer science, or related field with 7+ years development experience.
- Proven software engineer with web frontend design for enterprise software.
- Strong frontend architecture knowledge and cloud-ready solutions.
- Proficiency in Angular and Git; UI/UX knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; structured work approach.
- English skills and agile collaboration ability.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to Charter and Transport Planning Tool.
- Act as frontend lead in project team.
- Design and evolve Angular frontend applications.
- Maintain code quality via reviews, standards, and tests.
- Promote CI/CD and automation.
- Collaborate with our UI/UX experts.
- Model accountability and engineering culture.
- Identify and mitigate performance, security, and scalability risks.
