Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React, Angular, Vue.js, or Vanilla JS.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries.
• Translate designs and wireframes into high‑quality code.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web‑capable devices and browsers.
• Design front‑end architectures for component library integration with multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 / SCSS.
• Experience with one of the major JS libraries or frameworks (React/Next.js, Vue/Nuxt).
• Knowledge and experience with full software development lifecycle.
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with optimisations on an existing component library (APIs, component library…).
• Hands‑on mentality when needed on bug fixes, backlog, support tickets.
• A good sense for User Experience and Design as a whole.
• Ability to establish good communication flows between stakeholders, designers and developers in the team.
• Knowledge about overall front‑end architecture evaluation and scalability.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Ability to work in diverse teams.
• German and English professional proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
• Thorough understanding of React, Angular, Vue.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React, Angular, Vue.js workflows (such as Redux, NgRx, Vuex).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with modern front‑end build pipelines and tools.
• Experience with common front‑end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience with implementation and development around motion, a11y, design tokens, theming and more.
• A mindset for benchmarking and optimisation.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools (GIT).
• Experience with design systems implementation (most valued).
