Aghanim, based in Lisbon, is searching for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team and build high-performance web applications for games. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of frontend development experience and a strong command of React and Next.js.

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who cares deeply about performance, architecture, and building systems that scale.

You will work across two complementary product areas:

• A high-load, mobile-first web platform where SSR, rendering strategy, and Core Web Vitals are critical

• Internal builder, CMS, and analytics products that require complex editors, forms, and state-heavy interfaces

This role combines frontend platform engineering with advanced application development, requiring strong ownership of architecture, performance, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve high-performance web applications across game hubs, CMS, and analytics products

• Design scalable frontend architecture, reusable UI systems, and developer-friendly foundations

• Optimize rendering, caching, and application performance for high-load environments

• Develop complex editor experiences, forms, dashboards, and state-heavy user interfaces

• Ensure code quality through testing, observability, and engineering best practices

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of frontend development experience

• Strong React expertise and modern frontend architecture practices

• Production experience with Next.js, SSR, and React Server Components

• Experience building complex SPA applications, including editors, dashboards, CMS, or similar state-heavy products

• Strong performance optimization skills (Core Web Vitals, profiling, caching, rendering strategies, bundle optimization)

• Experience with TanStack ecosystem (React Query and related tools)

• Experience with Tailwind CSS and Vite

• Experience designing reusable UI systems, components, and frontend architecture

• Strong testing culture and maintainable engineering practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with schema-driven forms (Zod or similar)

• Experience with BaseUI, Radix, or similar component systems

• Experience with Bun

• Background in gaming, entertainment, or high-traffic consumer products
