Job summary

Arbe-it is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. You will build modern, scalable web applications using ReactJS and Next.js, with a focus on performance and accessibility.

You will design reusable front-end components, integrate with REST APIs, and collaborate with backend teams, DevOps and product stakeholders in a hybrid setup with two days in the office weekly. Strong communication and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with modern front-end technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS and Next.js.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs and front-end architecture.
• Experience with Node.js and package managers.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Good command of Git and version control workflows.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Candidates based in Portugal with valid visa/work authorization in the country.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize web applications using ReactJS and Next.js.
• Design and implement scalable front-end architectures and reusable components.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs.
• Work with Node.js and package management tools.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, GitHub Workflows and GitHub Actions.
• Manage source code and collaboration workflows using Git.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using tools such as Confluence.
• Troubleshoot issues, identify performance bottlenecks and continuously improve application quality.
