Valtech is seeking a Senior Flutter Developer in Portugal to design and build high-quality cross‑platform apps for Android and iOS using Flutter. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers, own features from concept to deployment, and help elevate Flutter adoption across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development, 2+ years with Flutter/Dart, strong OOP, testing, and experience with state management and RESTful APIs.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of total software development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Flutter and Dart experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern development practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with state management solutions (Riverpod, BLoC, Provider).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
• Understanding of responsive UI principles and mobile design guidelines.
• Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with local storage (Hive, SQLite) and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop cross‑platform apps for Android/iOS using Flutter.
• Translate requirements and UI designs into features.
• Write clean, testable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and support team learning.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers for seamless UX.
• Integrate apps with backend APIs and services.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Stay current with Flutter/Dart ecosystem and propose improvements.
