Valtech is seeking a Senior Flutter Developer in Portugal to design and build high-quality cross‑platform apps for Android and iOS using Flutter. You will collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers, own features from concept to deployment, and help elevate Flutter adoption across projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of software development, 2+ years with Flutter/Dart, strong OOP, testing, and experience with state management and RESTful APIs.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of total software development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Flutter and Dart experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern development practices.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with state management solutions (Riverpod, BLoC, Provider).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
• Understanding of responsive UI principles and mobile design guidelines.
• Solid knowledge of Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with local storage (Hive, SQLite) and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration.

The role

Valtech is looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to help design and build high-quality, scalable mobile and web applications using Flutter. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to bring modern, responsive digital experiences to life. As a senior developer, you’ll be expected to take ownership of features from concept to deployment, contribute to architectural decisions, ensure code quality, and mentor junior team members. Your expertise will help elevate engineering practices and strengthen Flutter adoption across projects.

Role responsibilities

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• 5+ years of total software development experience
