Bloq.it is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join our Operations team as the financial partner to the Operations and supply chain leadership, owning COGS, gross margins, procurement economics, and production cost visibility across Europe. You will build the cost-control layer, maintain BOMs and unit economics, track procurement costs against budget, and run rolling forecasts with cash impact.

Qualificações

• 5-8 years in financial controlling, cost accounting, or FP&A in manufacturing, hardware, or industrial settings.
• Deep understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, overhead allocation, and activity-based costing.
• Strong Excel skills with complex SUMIFS, scenario modelling, and multi-tab workbooks.
• Ability to pull data from ERP and BI tools without relying on others.
• Ability to translate cost data into actionable insights for operational leaders.
• Fluent in English for cross-functional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Own the COGS buildup by product line with BOMs, labour, overhead allocation; keep it current as products evolve and suppliers change.
• Track gross margin by product and by customer; connect pricing to production cost and profitability.
• Monitor procurement costs against budget; analyze material price variances, supplier performance, and scale effects.
• Build production cost-per-unit trending; identify drivers like scale, design iteration, quality issues.
• Own rolling operations forecast: procurement commitments, production pipeline, and cash impact.
• Provide inventory carrying cost visibility and highlight mismatches between stock and demand.
• Run financial reviews with Operations and Finance Leadership; deliver decision-ready insights.
