We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller

MAIN TASKS:

• Oversee and analyze monthly and quarterly financial performance, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Provide expert financial advice to business stakeholders, guiding them on risks, opportunities, and strategic decisions.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities related to business decisions and propose alternative solutions.
• Contribute to quarterly financial closing by ensuring accurate representation of financial data and providing business insights.
• Work closely with business units and the broader finance team to ensure financial objectives are aligned and deliverables are met.
• Develop a critical perspective on financial reports, challenge assumptions, and provide insights to improve financial outcomes.
• Regularly inform relevant departments and leadership about their financial performance and key financial indicators.
• Ensure finance-related deliverables are effectively implemented, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics).
• More than 6 years of experience in financial control, business analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities and provide strategic financial advice.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices.
• Fluent in English (mandatory). French is a plus.
• Hybrid role based in Porto.
