Job summary

Ferring Pharmaceuticals in Portugal seeks a Senior Financial Analyst in Group Consolidation & Reporting to support monthly and yearly close, intercompany and IFRS notes. You will work with OneERP SAP Group Reporting post-implementation and assist in adopting new reporting methods across entities.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, SAP experience, and fluent English within a multinational finance team. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge SAP technology and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant or final degree in Business Economics/Accounting Management.
• 3–5 years in reporting & consolidation or external audit.
• Knowledge of SAP and/or consolidation tools is required.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and experience in multinational structures.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and yearly reporting and consolidation, including intercompany and P&L/Balance Sheet variances.
• Collaborate on OneERP SAP Group Reporting post-implementation and adoption across entities.
• Coordinate with Group Auditors to ensure IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Contribute to the Financial and Accounting Manual and IFRS changes updates.

You will be working within Group finance team, other local Finance teams and relevant stakeholders to identify and support business objectives by analysing, planning and executing the various group finance process, including monthly reporting, preparation of year end group audit, annual report issuance, group forecast & budget process.In addition, you will work closely with OneERP project team for the SAP Group Reporting tool implementation and facilitate post implementation project phasis with new reporting tools while integrating new ways of reporting & enhancement processes.This position is a great opportunity to work in an international environment, covering a wide scope within the group finance team, including consolidation and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, various analysis and implementation of the latest SAP technology.Your day at FerringReporting/Consolidation: support the Consolidation and Reporting department in the monthly & yearly reporting and consolidation process including the validation and the consolidation of Sales, intercompany, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet and provide variance analysis and commentaries.OneERP project : contribute to the SAP Group Reporting post implementation while supporting other entities in the adoption of new ways of working & reporting.For year end and for some selected parts of the Yearly financial statements, interact with Group Auditors to ensure a full compliance of the Financial Statement with IFRS.
