Job summary

CHEP, a fully remote role based in Portugal, is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to partner with regional and global teams across Europe and North America. The role supports pricing, month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and IBP reporting while managing ad-hoc inquiries.

The ideal candidate has FP&A experience in a multinational environment, with strong MS Office skills and proficiency in SAP/BW/Hyperion/Oracle. Collaboration across time zones is essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor/BA/Controlling or similar.
• Desirable: Master’s Degree in Finance/FBP training, controlling, accounting and tax.
• Experience: FP&A or group controlling, multi-cultural settings, stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Senior Finance Analyst, Automotive is a fully remote opportunity that can be based anywhere in Portugal. As part of a global team, you'll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across both Europe and North America. To support effective partnership across time zones, the role requires availability Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM GMT. This schedule helps ensure strong connection and collaboration with teams across both regions.

About The Role:

The Analyst will support core financial processes including contributing to commercial pricing and quotation activities, while also supporting month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, Supply Chain Finance and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reporting or ad hoc queries.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor/BA/Controlling or similar

Desirable Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Finance/ FBP training, controlling, accounting and tax

Experience:

• Experience in finance & controlling within a multi-cultural environment
• Experienced in working with senior & executive management and customers
• Concrete background in FP&A and/or group controlling
• Project management experience & stakeholder management

Skills & Knowledge:

• Highly level of integrity & trust when dealing with confidential information
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions
• Highly adaptable to different business environment/requirements
• Ability to retain professionalism and performance whilst working under pressure and heavy workloads
• Excellent functional & technical skills in finance & controlling
