H.B. Fuller Portugal, a leading adhesives company, seeks a Chief Accountant to manage monthly closings, statutory and tax filings, and RTR operations for two entities in Italy.

The role supports financial, tax and legal matters and partners with local tax advisors. The ideal candidate has a business/finance degree, 3–5 years in a multinational or shared service center, strong English, SAP experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related area.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a multinational or SSC.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Italian a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Ability to lead and communicate at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly closing and prepare accounts under US GAAP and statutory principles.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reporting to EIMEA accounting team.
• Ensure statutory accounts and tax returns are filed on time.
• Manage RTR journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop process improvements for finance controls.
