Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Converter Engineer to join our Porto team, focusing on improving reliability and performance of client electrical converters. You will analyze CIM cases, drive root‑cause investigations, and lead quality improvements across projects.

You will guide design teams, oversee fleet quality enhancements, and promote a culture of excellence. Hybrid work is offered, with opportunities in national and international projects.

Qualificações

• Experience with CIM cases and root‑cause analyses.
• +5 years of engineering and quality assurance experience for product design.
• Education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Proficiency in Design for Reliability, preferably with a 6‑sigma black belt.
• Experience in Reliability testing and Design of Experiment.
• Knowledge of Tolerance Chain Analysis.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Implement improvements on the converter per CIM cases and root‑cause analyses.
• Guide project design teams in Design for Reliability (DfR), including suppliers.
• Review and approve project design team’s work.
• Oversee installed fleet quality improvements.
• Handle Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and field failure data analysis.
• Instill a quality mindset within the module and sub‑modules, providing guidelines and methodologies.
