Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Converter Control Engineer (F/M) in Porto to design, simulate and validate control systems for grid-connected wind turbine converters. You will implement control algorithms with MATLAB/Simulink to ensure grid code compliance and optimize turbine performance.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, 3+ years in power converters, and experience with grid-connected control design.

• 3+ years in power converter industry, preferably in energy
• Knowledge of grid-connected converters control design
• Experience with power electronics control and three-phase converters
• Understanding of DQO, sequence, and phasor representations
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or PSCAD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team collaboration and communication skills
