Job summary

Siemens Portugal Tech Hub seeks a Senior Solution Software Architect to lead the technical design and enterprise delivery of next-generation distributed platforms. You will define multi-cloud architecture spanning AWS and Microsoft Azure, and architect microservices with Golang on the backend and Angular on the frontend.

Collaborate with engineering squads, govern data streaming with Kafka and MongoDB, champion Security by Design and GDPR compliance, and guide teams through CI/CD, DevOps

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Go, Angular, Kafka and MongoDB in distributed systems.
• Proven DevOps mindset and CI/CD experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent written and spoken English across multicultural teams.
• Ability to bridge business requirements with technical architecture.
• Strong knowledge of multi-cloud architectures (AWS and Azure).

Responsibilities

• Design architecture solutions spanning business and technical aspects.
• Develop diagrams and documentation to facilitate team understanding.
• Guide development teams to align implementations with architecture.
• Ensure secure, scalable integrations and apply security best practices.
• Lead data pipeline architecture for batch and streaming workloads.
• Define deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and participate in Agile/Scrum processes.
