Capital.com in Lisbon is seeking a Senior DevOps/SRE Engineer to own cloud and on‑premise environments, architect scalable infrastructure, and drive automation and observability across the platform. You will build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, manage Kubernetes and bare‑metal clusters, implement IaC with Terraform, and partner with Security, Product, and Engineering to improve reliability at global scale.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps/SRE experience.
• Extensive AWS service knowledge (VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, ECR, RDS, etc.).
• Kubernetes expertise including bare-metal deployments and day-2 operations.
• Proficiency with Docker and Helm.
• Terraform as primary IaC tool; production-grade modules.
• GitLab CI for CI/CD pipelines; GitOps with FluxCD/ArgoCD.
• Strong monitoring/observability (Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, ELK).
• Fluent English; effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Own Kubernetes cluster management, including bare-metal deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI with GitOps tooling.
• Define Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and version control changes.
• Lead monitoring/observability dashboards, alerts, and logs (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
• Manage Kafka ecosystems (Strimzi, Kafka Connect, MirrorMaker).
• Drive incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to embed DevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the engineering bar for reliability.
