A2IT Technology is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting mainframe execution on x86 systems. The role emphasizes automation, security, and collaboration across local and remote teams in a hybrid setup.

You will lead DevOps initiatives, resolve production issues, and optimize deployment processes, with strong emphasis on GitHub Actions and cross-functional communication across Portuguese and English-speaking stakeholders.

Qualificações

• 5–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer; strong focus on automation and CI/CD workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Proficient with GitHub Actions for creating, maintaining and optimizing workflows.
• Excellent coordination and communication to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).

• Communicate progress, blockers, and resolutions to development teams and project management, collaborating with local and remote teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve infrastructure, security, and deployment processes.

Project: You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support Mainframe execution on x86 systems, addressing operational and security challenges within a complex and innovative environment.

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for complex environments, ensuring automation and efficient deployment processes;
• Lead DevOps initiatives autonomously, proactively identifying and removing blockers to ensure smooth and continuous delivery;
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production environments, always focusing on continuous improvement;
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot CI/CD workflows, preferably using GitHub Actions;
• Clearly communicate progress, blockers, and resolutions to development teams and project management, collaborating with both local and remote teams;
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve infrastructure, security, and deployment processes.
• 5–7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD;
• Proven experience implementing CI/CD workflows, deployment processes, and release pipelines;
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, including creating, maintaining, and optimizing workflows;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in production environments;
• High level of autonomy and proactivity, with the ability to independently communicate status updates and resolve blockers;
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and project stakeholders;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have:

• Basic knowledge of Mainframe systems;
• Strong Python skills for scripting, automation, and operational support tool development;
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
