A Axians Portugal procura um Senior Java Developer para integrar um projeto estratégico no setor bancário. O profissional irá evoluir uma aplicação de referência que gere dados financeiros, integrando com provedores de dados externos, com foco na qualidade, governança e eficiência.

O candidato ideal tem experiência sólida em back-end, Java 21, Spring e SQL (PostgreSQL), e atuação em ambientes Cloud e Docker, com prática em Agile.

Qualificações

• Formação universitária compatível com a função
• Experiência sólida em desenvolvimento back-end
• Conhecimento de Java 21 e Spring Framework
• Conhecimento avançado de SQL, especialmente PostgreSQL
• Prática de CI/CD, testes, versionamento e arquitetura de microserviços
• Experiência em ambientes Cloud (AWS/IBM Cloud ou similar) e Docker

Responsabilidades

• Projetar, desenvolver e manter arquiteturas back-end seguras, escaláveis e de alto desempenho
• Desenvolver soluções com Java 21 e Spring Framework
• Implementar APIs e serviços de exposição de dados
• Aplicar melhores práticas de engenharia de software, CI/CD, testes, versionamento e microserviços
• Contribuir para automação de entrega de software e processos de delivery
• Participar em fases de validação com usuários e stakeholders
• Colaborar com equipas multifuncionais em ambiente Ágil

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a strategic project within the banking sector. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of a critical application responsible for managing financial statement referential data. The platform integrates with external public and market data providers and includes data capture capabilities for non-structured documents. The solution plays a key role in ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across multiple referential data sources, helping reduce reporting discrepancies, improve time-to-market, and deliver faster and more accurate business insights. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who enjoy working on large-scale data-driven platforms, collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders in an international environment.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing back-end architectures
• Develop solutions using Java 21 and Spring Framework
• Implement and maintain APIs and data exposure services
• Apply software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, versioning and microservices architecture
• Contribute to the industrialization and automation of software delivery processes
• Participate in validation phases with business users and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Support the continuous evolution and improvement of the platform

Your Main Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field
• Solid experience in Back-End Software Development
• Expertise in Java 21
• Proven experience with Spring Framework
• Advanced SQL knowledge, particularly PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD, unit testing, versioning, and microservices
• Experience with Cloud environments such as AWS, IBM Cloud, or similar
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Experience with third-party data integration, Data Governance, or Data Management is considered a plus
• Fluency in English
• French knowledge is a plus
