WE ARE META is seeking a seasoned Database Engineer placed through our network to collaborate with national and international clients. You will help match top database specialists with engagements and advise on deployment strategies.

This remote-friendly role in Portugal offers flexible working arrangements (remote, hybrid, or on-site) and access to a wide network of tech partners. English fluency (B2+) is required, and AI tools will assist daily development.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Database Engineering or similar role.
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL and/or MS SQL Server.
• Experience using LLMs and AI programming assistants to augment development.
• Familiar with distributed databases, partitioning, replication and performance tuning.
• English fluency (B2+).

Responsabilidades

• Support matching consultants with client projects via We Are META.
• Collaborate with recruiters to ensure policy and culture fit.
• Leverage AI tools to augment daily development.
