Job summary

Inetum, a global IT services leader, seeks a data analytics professional in Lisbon to identify business opportunities, lead discovery sessions, and design scalable data solutions that drive growth and efficiency.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable plans, develop data pipelines using SQL and Python, and promote a data-driven culture across projects. Jira and Confluence will be used for progress tracking.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in data analysis, business consulting, or data-driven transformation projects.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for project management.
• Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities and use cases that create value through data and analytics.
• Lead workshops and discovery sessions with clients to understand business challenges and objectives.
• Design scalable data solutions that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and business growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into actionable plans.
• Define and maintain clear project roadmaps aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and deliver data analysis solutions, from ad hoc studies to end-to-end data pipelines, leveraging SQL, Python, and ETL platforms.
• Promote a data-driven culture by supporting stakeholders in adopting analytical decision-making practices.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reporting using Jira and Confluence.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of data governance, analytics, and reporting frameworks.
