Job summary

Consort Group in Portugal seeks a senior Data Analytics professional to shape data strategies, build scalable pipelines, and drive value across European markets. You will lead workshops, translate needs into technical specs, and deliver insights through dashboards and reports.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced nearshore environment, using ETL, Python, SQL, Jira, and Confluence to enable data-driven decisions. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Analytics, BI, data consulting, or similar role.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, analytical, and able to transform complex data into insights.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Python for data processing, analysis, and automation.
• ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Data visualization and reporting solutions.
• Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile delivery and Jira/Confluence.
• Data governance and data quality principles.
• Project tracking, reporting, and roadmap management.
• Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
• English at C1 level; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify business use cases where data and analytics can create measurable value.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and define priorities.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Design scalable data solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Define implementation roadmaps and support data transformation initiatives.
• Promote the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Contribute to data governance, data quality, and best-practice initiatives.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement projects leveraging analytics and automation.
• Deliver data analyses and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools, SQL, and Python.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
• Monitor project progress and track deliverables using project management tools.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between expectations and delivered solutions.
• Produce reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and management audiences.
• Support users in understanding and leveraging data solutions effectively.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of delivered data products.
