Jobgether in Portugal is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to develop and improve machine learning products at global scale, handling large datasets and real-time models processing billions of ad requests.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and ML engineers to deploy scalable solutions that boost customer acquisition, retargeting, and advertising performance across a global platform, with a strong emphasis on experimentation. You’ll join a distributed team focused on innovation.

Qualificações

• At least 5 years of professional experience developing data science or machine learning products.
• Strong programming skills and a commitment to clean, maintainable, reproducible, and well-tested code.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Docker, and SQL.
• Experience with algorithms for sparse and large-scale datasets: prediction, clustering, outlier detection.
• Practical experience with neural networks for classification, regression, multi-task learning is valuable.
• Knowledge of reinforcement learning and large-scale optimization is an advantage.
• Good understanding of SQL and dashboards for monitoring data science/machine learning systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and engineers.
• Pragmatic, experimentation-oriented mindset focused on measurable product outcomes.
• Previous professional AdTech experience, ideally with mobile app advertising technology.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, enhance, and optimize ML models by introducing new features and data sources.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to research, develop, and deploy scalable algorithms.
• Explore new data sources to improve model performance and create data-driven solutions.
• Research and evaluate innovative ML approaches to optimize product and ad value chain.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests to measure impact and improve models.
• Handle sparse, high-volume datasets for prediction, clustering, and outlier detection.
• Contribute to neural-network products for classification, regression, and multi-task learning.
• Write clean, reproducible, and well-tested code moving research into production.
• Develop monitoring tools and dashboards to track model and system performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and data scientists to translate business challenges.
• Apply an experimentation-driven approach prioritizing simple, effective solutions.
