A leading IT consulting company in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work on machine learning projects and ensure quality deliverables in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, experience with Python and R, and up to 10 years of relevant experience. This is a full-time position offering engagement with global teams in the Energy & Utilities market.

Qualificações

We are searching for a Senior Data Scientist!

Responsibilites & Requirements

• Up to 10 years of experience in the role required for the contracted service.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR (valued).
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and with global teams.
• Critical analysis skills and problem-solving focus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology, JIRA and Confluence tools (valued).
• Commitment to quality deliverables.
• Experience in strategic projects (valued).
• Language skills (written and spoken): English (required), Portuguese (valued), Spanish (valued).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in developing machine learning projects (Python, R or SAS), deploying models to production environments and managing the model lifecycle.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch and Tensorflow).
• Experience in developing analytical solutions involving AI. (PLUS)
• Implementation of code (R, Python) and/or proficient use of PaaS cloud services (Azure preferred) and advanced analytics libraries (TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe, PyTorch). (PLUS)
