HumanIT Digital Consulting in Portugal is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate production data pipelines using Python, SQL and Airflow. You will manage batch and streaming ingestion, orchestration, and data contracts across cloud platforms in a fully remote setup within Portugal.

You will collaborate with leadership and client teams, applying IaC, CI/CD for data workloads, and ensuring observable, reliable pipelines with strong communication and accountability.

Qualificações

• Proven experience building and running data pipelines in production.
• Advanced, production-grade SQL.
• Advanced Python (3.12).
• Production depth in one major cloud provider (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with a mainstream orchestrator (Airflow 2.10+).
• Infrastructure as code and CI/CD for data workloads are standard practices.
• Data contracts, schema drift control, access management and data lineage.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate data pipelines moving data from sources to the warehouse.
• Handle batch and streaming ingestion and orchestration.
• Ensure observability, testing, and reliable recovery of pipelines.
• Collaborate with leadership and client teams and document Architecture.
