Aubay Portugal is seeking a senior Data Engineer to contribute to the evolution of data platform components, develop tools, automate data processing workflows, and support data scientists and analysts in industrializing models. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Data Engineering, strong Python, SQL, REST APIs, and Git, with Apache Airflow experience, data integration, and DataOps/MLOps knowledge.

What will you do?

• Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of the data platform components;
• Develop tools and services that support and streamline the work of Data teams;
• Participate in the automation and orchestration of data processing workflows;
• Support Data Scientists and Data Analysts in the industrialization of their models and data processes;
• Transform Proofs of Concept (PoCs) into robust, production-ready solutions;
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.

What are we looking for?

• Strong experience (5+ years) in Data Engineering, specifically in industrializing Data and AI projects;
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and Git;
• Solid experience with Apache Airflow for data pipeline orchestration;
• Proven background in data integration and processing;
• Strong understanding of DataOps and MLOps concepts and practices;
• Knowledge of React is a plus for supporting internal reporting applications;
• Fluency in English (B2+);
