GRiT Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Portugal to lead data integration and warehousing initiatives. You will design end-to-end architectures, consolidate multi-source data, and guide data teams across platforms like SQL Server, SSIS, Python, and Power BI.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data modeling, and architectural leadership in a fast-paced tech environment at GRiT Solutions.

Qualificações

• 6–8 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with SQL Server on-premises and advanced T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Knowledge of Python applied to Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with dimensional modelling, particularly Kimball methodology and star schemas.
• Proven experience building and evolving Data Warehouses.
• Experience with Power BI and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Proven experience in data architecture, including end-to-end Data Warehouse solution design, layer definition, and integration patterns.
• Experience in multi-source / multi-ERP data consolidation projects.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership to data teams.
• Fluent Portuguese.
• Working proficiency in English.

Must-Have

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Experience working with SAP as a source system, particularly FI, CO, MM, or SD

• Experience with dbt
• Experience with Apache Airflow
• Previous experience designing solutions with Microsoft Fabric and/or supporting migrations to Fabric
• Experience defining data engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices
