GRiT Solutions is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join our Lisbon-based team. You will design scalable data architectures leveraging Azure Databricks, ADLS, and modern data formats to deliver robust data pipelines.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and an emphasis on delivering value through agile practices is required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong Azure know-how, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Solid Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage skills.
• Experience with Parquet/Delta Lake formats and end-to-end data solutions.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (SCRUM) and strong communication.

Must-Have

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Solid experience within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, with strong command of Azure Databricks
• Strong command of distributed storage technologies, particularly Azure Data Lake Storage, and formats such as Parquet and Delta Lake
• Experience across the full data solution development lifecycle — ingestion, transformation, modelling and delivery
• Proven ability to design scalable, performance-oriented architectures
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Proactivity and autonomy in problem-solving
• Strong communication skills and active listening
• Collaborative attitude with a focus on delivering value
• Systemic thinking, attention to detail and critical judgement

Would Be Great If You Have

• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of SCALA to PySpark migration
• Knowledge of Azure Synapse
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
