Wire IT, based in Portugal, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a hybrid team in Lisbon or Porto. You will design and implement cloud-based data platforms, orchestrate data migrations, and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery and Cloud Composer.

Qualificações

6–9 years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong focus on cloud-based data platforms and migration projects.
BigQuery schema design, complex SQL queries, performance optimization, and cost management.
Cloud Composer for DAGs orchestration in migration and integration scenarios.
Excellent SQL; SQL Server experience a plus.
Python for data migration, automation, transformation, and GCP API interactions.
Experience migrating databases from on-prem SQL Server to GCP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for designing and debugging GCP-based solutions.
Good communication skills in English (B2 level).
