Decskill, an IT consulting company, is looking for a Data Engineer (GCP) for a project with a hybrid working model in Lisbon, Portugal. The role focuses on migrating data from SQL Server to GCP and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines using BigQuery and Python.

You will design schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data quality while collaborating with admins, analysts, data scientists, and business users across the project.

Qualificações

• 6–9 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• BigQuery design, queries, partitioning, and cost management.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.
• English B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute data and ETL migration strategies from SQL Server to GCP.
• Develop pipelines and BigQuery SQL queries for transformation and loading.
• Maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP and monitor data quality.
• Collaborate with SQL Server admins, analysts, data scientists, and business users.
• Monitor, debug, and resolve incidents in data pipelines.
