Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to shape the architecture and transformation of large-scale data center infrastructures. You will design Spine-Leaf networks, implement DCI, and lead automation for provisioning and lifecycle management.

You'll strengthen security with next-gen firewalls, segmentation, and Zero Trust concepts while driving CI/CD for network changes and improving observability. The role includes mentoring and international project exposure.

Qualificações

• Strong experience with Spine-Leaf architecture and large-scale DC networks.
• Expertise in VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF and DC interconnect.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve data center architectures based on Spine-Leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and DCI.
• Develop perimeter security solutions using next-gen firewalls, segmentation, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
• Create automation for provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of network equipment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for network changes with automated validation and rollback mechanisms.
• Develop observability and telemetry for monitoring and capacity planning.
• Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation and promote NetDevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support adoption of new technologies.

YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Data Center Network Engineer to join a team responsible for the architecture, evolution, and transformation of large-scale data center infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve data center architectures based on Spine-Leaf, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and DCI.
• Develop and strengthen perimeter security solutions using next-generation firewalls, segmentation, micro-segmentation, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
• Create automation solutions for the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of network equipment.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for network changes, featuring automated validation, pre-deployment testing, and rollback mechanisms.
• Develop observability and telemetry capabilities for monitoring and capacity planning.
• Participate in resolving complex incidents and conducting root cause analysis.
• Produce technical documentation and promote NetDevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support the adoption of new technologies.

• Strong experience with Spine-Leaf architecture
• VXLAN/EVPN
• BGP and OSPF
• vPC/MLAG
• Layer 2 protection and STP
• QoS and Multicast
• Data Center Interconnect (DCI)
• NGFW Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, or Check Point)
• NAT, IPsec/SSL VPNs
• Segmentation and Micro-segmentation
• DMZ and Zero Trust
• IDS/IPS
• WAF and DDoS mitigation
• Load Balancers (F5 or equivalent)

NICE TO HAVE

• Minimum of 8 years in Network Engineering
• At least 5 years in large-scale Data Center environments
• Minimum of 3 years in production network automation projects
• Experience with Data Center transformation programs will be valued
