Nordea Asset Management seeks an experienced Lead Data Architect to design and build the enterprise data foundation. Based in Oeiras (Quinta da Fonte), this role couples hands-on technical leadership with strategic direction to shape data modelling, governance and consumption across NAM.

During onboarding you will have significant on-site presence, transitioning to a hybrid model (3 days in the Office + 2 days from home).

Qualificações

• Master's degree required in a quantitative discipline.
• 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or data modelling.
• Proven experience designing and implementing modern cloud-based data platforms and setting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Own NAM's target data architecture across domains, boundaries and interfaces.
• Design and hands-on build core data models and data products in Snowflake and dbt.
• Lead architectural decisions with clear alternatives and recommendations across domains.
• Define reference architectures, design principles, and architecture decision records.
• Collaborate with business domains (Investments, Distribution, Risk, Operations, Finance) to translate processes into reusable data products.
• Design ingestion and integration landscape (internal sources, vendor feeds, batch/streaming).
• Embed governance via metadata, lineage, tagging, access models and policy enforcement.
• Ensure regulatory, security and non-functional requirements (GDPR, DORA, resilience).
• Partner with Group Technology on cloud/infrastructure standards; represent NAM in architecture forums.
• Support analytics, AI and agentic solutions built on the data foundation.
• Coach engineers and analysts to raise data architecture maturity.
