Job summary

Emma – The Sleep Company is seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 F&O developer to lead technical development for procurement and sales cycles. You will craft, test, and document code while building integrations with other systems and APIs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Microsoft Dynamics and hands-on experience in the D365 F&O space, with a preference for those comfortable in a hybrid setup based in Portugal or Germany.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (F&O).
• Hands-on experience specifically within Procurement and Sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Dynamics 365 F&O modules in Procurement and Sales.
• Provide coding, unit testing, and technical documentation support for Dynamics-based solutions.
• Collaborate with consultants to design solutions meeting business needs and test documentation.
• Design and maintain integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and third-party systems.
• Test modifications for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to standards.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for the technical development, coding, and design of modifications or extensions (functions, forms, and reports) to the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (F&O), specifically the Procurement and Sales cycles
• Provide support and expertise for coding, unit testing, and creating technical documentation for Microsoft Dynamics based solutions, setting up security measures and permissions, and participating in system and acceptance testing
• Gain understanding of the business' needs, cooperates with Consultants in designing a solution for the business needs and requirements, and collaborates with other support teams to complete design and testing documentation
• Test modifications for the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards
• May be tasked with additional development tasks such as: developing data migration procedures to integrate Microsoft Dynamics Solutions to other systems
• Designs, develops, and maintains integrations between Dynamics 365 F&O and third‑party or legacy systems, leveraging middleware platforms to ensure reliable, scalable, and monitored data flows
• Solid understanding of API design and consumption (REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML payloads), authentication mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, Azure AD service principals), and secure data exchange practices
• Strong proficiency in X++ development, including the Dynamics 365 F&O extension model (Chain of Command, event handlers), data manipulation and set‑based operations, and core application frameworks such as SysOperation, Data Management Framework (DMF), and the security framework

Who we are looking for:

• 5+ years of technical development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain (formerly AX)
• Hands‑on experience specifically within the Procurement and Sales cycles

• Understanding of key Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within the Dynamics ecosystem
