Decskill, part of the Astek Group with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid, seeks a Cryptography Cybersecurity Expert. You will define security requirements, guide units on controls, and assess cryptographic designs while advancing crypto-agility and data protection across the organization.

You will collaborate with international teams to strengthen governance, evaluate risks, and drive continuous improvement in security architecture and practices. English proficiency is required.

Qualificações

• Experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT risk management.
• Experience defining cryptography and data security strategies.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and defining mitigation plans.
• Experience evaluating security architectures and data protection mechanisms.
• Experience participating in security-focused projects and PoCs.
• Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity.
• Solid understanding of cryptography, key management, and data protection principles.
• Knowledge of data protection techniques such as encryption, anonymization, and data masking.
• Ability to assess security architectures and evaluate robustness of solutions.
• Experience defining security requirements and security-by-design principles.

Responsabilidades

• Define security requirements and strategies for cryptography and data protection across enterprise environments.
• Provide guidance to business units and subsidiaries on security controls and best practices.
• Assess cybersecurity risks, potential impact, and recommend mitigations.
• Participate in PoCs to evaluate security solutions.
• Assess robustness of cryptographic designs and data protection mechanisms.
• Define and promote cryptography and data security techniques.
• Produce and review security risk assessments and countermeasures.
• Define security requirements across the organization and crypto-agility initiatives.
• Collaborate with international teams to strengthen cybersecurity governance.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity trends and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen governance and resilience.
