PrimeIT is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Expert specialized in cryptography to strengthen cybersecurity teams within the financial sector. The role focuses on defining security requirements for cryptographic solutions and supporting risk analysis activities in Lisbon or Porto.

You will lead efforts on encryption at rest, key management, data protection and security architecture, collaborating across international teams and driving crypto governance and best practices.

Qualificações

• Senior cybersecurity experience with cryptography, encryption at rest and key management.
• Ability to translate business requirements into security requirements.
• Experience with risk analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and data protection mechanisms.

Responsabilidades

• Define security requirements and strategy for Cryptography and Data Security
• Support business entities in implementing cybersecurity and cryptographic security measures
• Analyze and evaluate security risks, impacts and propose mitigation measures
• Assess the robustness of security architectures, designs and data protection mechanisms
• Contribute to technical Proofs of Concept (POCs) for security solutions
• Provide guidance on the use of cryptography, anonymization and masking techniques depending on business needs
• Write and validate risk assessments and define appropriate countermeasures
• Contribute to the inventory of cryptographic assets and crypto-agility initiatives
• Perform technological watch and share cybersecurity knowledge with the community
• Promote best practices around encryption, key management and data protection
