Job summary

Alimentiv, a global CRO, is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate to independently manage site monitoring and site management across Portugal and Spain from start-up to close-out. You will ensure protocol compliance, ICH-GCP standards, and data integrity while collaborating with Clinical Operations, Project Management, sponsors and cross-functional teams.

This senior role includes mentoring junior CRAs, supporting site activation and recruitment, and traveling 40–60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant clinical research experience; 7–9 years preferred.
• Strong monitoring across site start-up through close-out; travel required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct site monitoring visits and remote monitoring across Portugal and Spain.
• Ensure sites comply with protocols, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance to sites and resolve protocol deviations through to resolution.
• Review trial data for accuracy, completeness and data integrity.
• Support site selection, activation and recruitment to meet milestones.
• Train sites on protocols and study processes throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain essential study documentation (ISF/TMF) and audits readiness.
