Job summary

Revolut Ltd in Portugal seeks an experienced Business Compliance Manager with investment funds expertise to provide practical regulatory guidance, support product development and fund operations, and balance compliance with innovation.

You will apply frameworks such as AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID II, and FCA/EU requirements, lead governance reviews, and help expand into new markets while strengthening controls and investor protection.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of regulatory, business, or product compliance experience in financial services.
• In-depth knowledge of UK/EEA regulatory frameworks, investment funds, and investor protection.
• Experience advising product/business stakeholders on regulatory matters and product launches.
• Ability to translate regulatory developments into practical processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support new product launches, features, and investment services ensuring compliance across the product lifecycle.
• Advise on product governance, target markets, distribution, customer outcomes, and ongoing reviews.
• Apply frameworks including AIFMD, UCITS, MiFID II, and FCA/EU requirements.
• Support market expansion by identifying regulatory needs and managing compliance risks.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitor activities, address gaps, and support process improvements.
• Monitor regulatory developments and lead/regulate regulatory change with relevant teams.
