Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Platform Engineer (P4) to design, automate, and operate scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure, with a strong focus on data science workflows. This mid-senior role blends hands-on cloud engineering with client-facing consulting, mostly remote in Europe.

You will own infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, manage Kubernetes/Linux environments, and lead or contribute to technical solutions for one primary client at a time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional cloud/platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Led at least one significant infrastructure project from design to delivery.
• Strong hands-on AWS expertise.
• Kubernetes and Linux systems expertise.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps.
• Experience with data science/machine learning workloads is relevant.
• Strong consulting, communication and stakeholder skills.
• Fluent English at C1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure.
• Develop and evolve platform infrastructure for data science workflows (Databricks, Posit).
• Automate development and deployment with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, GitLab CI).
• Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Operate Kubernetes and Linux systems; develop automation using Python/Bash.
• Lead or contribute to technical solutions from architecture through delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into platform solutions.
• Advise clients on cloud architecture, security, scalability and long-term strategy.
