Decskill is growing and seeks a Senior Cloud & Middleware Operations Engineer (AWS) for a Lisbon project. You will operate AWS/on-prem infra, automate with IaC and Ansible, and manage middleware platforms like Camel and JBoss. Collaboration with security and development teams ensures secure, reliable environments and smooth deployments.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, incident RCA, and working within Agile practices to deliver high-availability systems across multiple environments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience operating AWS and on-prem infrastructures.
• Strong experience with IaC and advanced Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Python, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with middleware and integration platforms such as Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, and Apache Web Server.
• Knowledge of Web Services, SFTP, OpenFT, OIDC, TLS/SSL.
• Security practices in AWS IAM and networking.
• Proven incident management and structured RCA experience.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and administer AWS and on-premises infrastructures, ensuring stability and security.
• Provision, maintain, and improve environments using IaC and automation (Ansible, Python, CloudFormation).
• Operate and support middleware and integration platforms (Apache Camel, JBoss, Quarkus, Apache Web Server).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents; lead RCA and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
• Support deployment and release activities across multiple environments.
• Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.
