Decskill is seeking an AWS DevOps engineer to join a challenging Lisbon project. You will design and maintain secure AWS infrastructure, implement CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

The role requires 4+ years in AWS infrastructure, strong security and IaC experience, and fluency in English. You’ll work with RDS/PostgreSQL and cloud networking, embracing AI tools to optimize Cloud Operations.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 4+ years of AWS Infrastructure and Cloud Operations experience.
• Strong experience with AWS security and cloud security best practices.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD using GitLab Pipelines.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience with RDS/PostgreSQL security, encryption, access control, and backup strategies.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration, including patching and hardening.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPN, Direct Connect, DNS, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink).
• Good understanding of security principles across cloud infra, OS, networking, and databases.
• Ability to leverage AI tools in Cloud Operations.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

We are looking for an AWS DevOps for a challenging project in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable AWS infrastructure.
• Manage AWS security, including access control, encryption, security best practices, and infrastructure hardening.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain secure database environments, including Amazon RDS and PostgreSQL.
• Design and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Perform patching, hardening, and security management of Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Design and maintain cloud networking solutions, including VPN, Direct Connect, DNS security, TCP/IP, DDoS protection, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.
• Apply AI-based tools and approaches to support and improve Cloud Operations activities.

Requirements:
