What will you be doing at Miniclip?
As a Cloud Engineer you will design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions on AWS, ensuring fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and cost efficiency. You will deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters using Helm charts and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, migrate legacy applications to modern containerized environments, and automate infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. You will also collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
- Ensure fault‑tolerant, scalable and disaster recovery of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for cost‑efficiency and performance.
Kubernetes & Containerization
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters for scalable containerized workloads.
- Automate Kubernetes cluster management with Helm charts and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
- Migrate legacy applications to modern/containerized solutions.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain Chef cookbooks for configuration management across Linux servers.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools for automating infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and other teams.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- 6+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- 5+ years of expertise in using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS containerised services such as ECS, EKS, Fargate and containerised tools such as Docker, Helm, ArgoCD.
- 3+ years of network knowledge and troubleshooting.
- Highly proficient in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Strong background in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Go, or Ruby.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Admin or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with other CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
