Overview

AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead the automation and reliability of our cloud services in Portugal. Responsibilities include designing and implementing automatic refresh processes across all projects, establishing governance standards, and enabling self-service capabilities for future initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce tagging standards and governance policies across AWS resources


• Document and establish ways of working for cloud infrastructure to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing


• Design and implement an automatic refresh plan for AWS environments and services


• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)


• Develop self-service automation templates to simplify adoption across projects


• Ensure proper observability and monitoring of cloud services (CloudWatch, X-Ray, Grafana, Prometheus)


• Collaborate with teams through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and decision-making forums

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field


• Proven experience as DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer


• Solid background in AWS Cloud environments with a focus on automation and governance


• Knowledge in AWS Services


• Familiarity in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform)


• Knowledge of CI/CD tools


• Experience with Python or Bash


• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes


• Knowledge of CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog


• Strong ability to establish standards and disseminate knowledge


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Proactive and automation-first mindset


• Comfortable working in cross-functional agile teams


• Fluent in English (mandatory)
