Job summary

askblue in Lisbon is seeking an Expert Cloud Automation Developer to join our Cloud Services team in a challenging project across construction, mobility and industrial sectors. You will design and build reusable cloud automation, IaC modules, and full-stack services that provision and govern Azure resources.

Qualifications

• Azure & public-cloud architecture designing secure, governed Azure solutions across cloud services.
• Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation with Terraform for reusable modules.
• CI/CD and DevOps pipelines using GitHub Actions for multi-environment deployments.
• Full-stack development: Java/Spring, REST APIs, JS frameworks for backend/frontend.
• Cloud security, identity, governance: access controls, secrets, audit requirements.
• API and platform integration across Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow, identity services.
• Automated testing and quality engineering for apps, APIs, infra, and cloud services.
• Scripting and operational automation with PowerShell or equivalent.
• Monitoring and production operations, observability, and lifecycle management.
• Containers and Kubernetes (AKS) deployment and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver reusable Infrastructure as Code modules and workflows for Azure resources.
• Build full-stack self-service apps and supporting APIs to simplify cloud consumption.
• Create automated CI/CD workflows to validate and deploy changes across environments.
• Develop automated tests for software, APIs, infra, and cloud services.
• Incorporate security and governance into delivery patterns, including IAM and policy enforcement.
• Ensure operational readiness with monitoring, logging, alerts, docs, and handover materials.
• Provide technical designs and guidance to promote reuse and adoption by teams.
• Recommend improvements to reduce manual effort and operational complexity.
