Job summary

SYONE is seeking an Expert Cloud Automation Developer to join our Lisbon team in a hybrid setup. You will design and implement secure, scalable cloud automation on Azure, using Terraform IaC, and build reusable services and APIs for enterprise consumption.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, integrate with GitHub/ServiceNow, and ensure governance, security, and reliability across deployments, in a global agile environment. Fluency in English (B2+) is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional IT experience in enterprise environments.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public-cloud architecture.
• Advanced experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably GitHub Actions.
• Expert full-stack development: backend services, REST APIs, and frontend apps (Java/Spring, JS/TS).
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong cloud security, IAM, and governance knowledge.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and production operations.
• International/Agile environments experience; fluent English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design and build secure, scalable cloud automation solutions on Azure.
• Develop IaC pipelines and Terraform modules for Azure resources.
• Create reusable cloud services, APIs, and self-service tooling.
• Develop backend services, REST APIs, and frontend apps per modern practices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Integrate Azure with GitHub, ServiceNow and identity platforms.
• Enforce security, IAM, policy, secrets, and auditability.
• Develop automated tests for apps, APIs, infra modules and cloud services.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerts, docs, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate across Cloud, Platform Eng, DevOps, Security, and App teams; promote reusable standards.
