Axians Portugal is seeking a Senior C++ Developer to join a challenging project in the financial services sector. You will develop, enhance, and maintain critical trading platform components, delivering high-performance, low-latency, and secure real-time systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams through the SDLC, participate in code reviews, and work with production support for releases. English fluency is required; Lisbon-based role with competitive compensation and health

Qualificações

• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years as IT team lead.
• Solid experience with C++ (11/14/17/20), STL and Boost.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with SDLC.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other high-load real-time systems.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Experience in migration/refactoring projects to new rails.
• Understanding of design & architecture principles, data structures and algorithms.
• Strong Linux skills with cmake, gcc, gdb.
• Unix shell scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge of FIX or other Fintech protocols is a plus.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the trading platform.
• Ensure the platform meets high standards of quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in an agile SDLC including analysis, documentation, development, testing and code reviews.
