Omilia invites a Senior C/C++ Engineer to join our product engineering team, building performance-critical systems for our conversational AI platform. You will own design and implementation of core C/C++ components, with a focus on memory safety, concurrency, and high availability.

This role offers mentorship by SIP experts, opportunities to work on Asterisk modules, and a path to deeper telephony specialization while collaborating across engineering teams.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in C/C++ systems programming, incl. memory management, multithreading, and low-level debugging.
• Experience with Git and C/C++ build tools like CMake or Meson.
• Hands-on experience modifying, building, and deploying Asterisk.
• Experience designing APIs/Web Services and microservices in C/C++.
• OO analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Continuous innovation mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance C/C++ components across Omilia's platform.
• Develop mission-critical apps for high availability and performance.
• Debug multi-threaded, low-level issues using gdb, valgrind, or strace.
• Develop, extend, and maintain Asterisk modules for call handling and routing.
• Patch and validate Asterisk core and modules against security advisories and internal hardening.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor teammates when needed.
• Support organizational priority activities and act as Omilia ambassador.
