In parallel, Akuo Renováveis Portugal is developing projects to increase its portfolio, namely for the Over-equipment and Hybridization (including wind and storage) of the 3 solar parks, and also by exploring Agri-Energy opportunities.️?️?

Job Description

We are looking for a SeniorBusiness Developer to join us, driven by the latest key milestones and increased project activity, to help materialize Akuo’s secured pipeline in Portugal.

You will be part of the Business Development team and you will work closely with the Development team.

You will drive the promotion and business development of our portfolio and contribute to deliver one of the biggest Renewable Asset portfolio under development in Portugal.

Specific Tasks and Deliverables:

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement public affairs strategies to support the pipeline development,
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and maintain Akuo’s relationships with all the stakeholders involved in the project,
• Public Speaking and Representation: Represent Akuo in public forums, with governmental bodies, delivering presentations,
• Policy Analysis and recommendations,
• Review and commentthe due diligence reports,
• Participate in the updates ofthe business plans of the projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience, preferably with a track-record as Business developer, Developeror equivalent,
• You have already studied/worked within an international environment and you have a strong interest in the Renewable Energy sector,
• You are characterized by a systematic, analytical approach and goal orientation,
• You have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team,
• You are proactive, adaptable and results-driven,
• You are open to the idea of regular business trips.
